SUMMARY:Charlene Kaye: Diversity Shredder
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the unhinged\, razor-sharp\, fluorescent universe
of Charlene Kaye: guitar god\, internet legend and “breakout comedy star
” according to Rolling Stone. Known for her countless viral videos such
as “Every Taylor Swift Song” (100M views and counting)\, she brings us a
brand new Diversity Shredder! Kaye has been touring her critically accl
aimed debut show "Tiger Daughter: Or\, How I Brought My Immigrant Mother
Ultimate Shame\," presented by comedy icon Margaret Cho. That show play
ed to sold-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and Melbourne International
Comedy Festival 2025\, and it will soon be filmed as her first comedy s
pecial. While Tiger Daughter was a hilarious and heartfelt hour about he
r mother\, Diversity Shredder is a madcap musical about being a menace t
o society as an Asian woman guitar shredder. From starting out as a folk
singer-songwriter\, to shredding in wizard rock band Team StarKid\, to
starting endless gender-flipped cover bands like Guns N’ Hoses and Labia
head\, it’s an unhinged tour of her musical universe. You’ll be rolling
in your seats\, you’ll learn a lot about how music works\, and you might
even confuse her for Bobby Lee. Anything is possible!\n\nMore info: htt
