SUMMARY:Sarah Politte
DESCRIPTION:"There's a quiet wisdom in her swing that's rare at any age.
Having spent many hours with Sarah in the studio\, what strikes me most
is her ear for melody\, her deep respect for jazz\, and the emotional ho
nesty she brings to every note." — Justin Armstrong Born in St. Louis Mi
ssouri\, this nineteen year-old\, two-time All-State Jazz Vocalist is fr
esh off the release of her highly anticipated debut EP\, In Wonderland.
Recorded at Marigny Studios and produced by Grammy-winning sound enginee
r and producer Justin Armstrong. Sarah is truly an accomplished performe
r\, being involved in musical theatre for years and playing lead roles s
uch as Dorothy and “The Wizard of Oz” and Liesl in “The Sound of Music”.
Her sophisticated artistry in jazz has already earned her a completely
sold-out show at The Blue Strawberry and opportunities to perform and re
cord alongside esteemed jazz artists such as Wycliffe Gordon\, Marina Al
bero\, Allen Vizzutti\, and Lori Mechem. With a voice described as "choc
olate melting" Sarah Politte breathes new life into the timeless classic
s of the Great American Songbook. Her repertoire also includes Brazilian
jazz and her own original compositions\, written in the classic songboo
k style. And with Valentine’s Day right around the corner\, this show fe
atures plenty of jazzy love songs\, perfect for an early Valentine’s cel
 ebration!\n\nTickets: https://bluestrawberrystl.com/show/ticket/2210\n\n
