SUMMARY:Social Currents
DESCRIPTION:Social Currents is an evening of captivating choreography by
Alicia Trump in collaboration with Meraki Dance Theatre company dancers.
The show also includes guest performers from Groove the Academy. This p
owerful evening of dance takes audiences on a journey through the comple
xities of our shared human experience. The first part dives into the pul
se of contemporary life—examining society\, culture\, and the intricate
ways we connect\, collide\, and coexist. Through bold and thought-provok
ing work\, it asks urgent questions about the world we’re building toget
her. In contrast\, the second section rises with renewed energy and opti
 mism\, offering a vision of hope\, unity\, and resilience. Together\, th
ese works invite us to imagine a stronger collective future—and remind u
s of the transformative power of coming together to create meaningful ch
 ange.\n\nMore info: https://www.saltlakecountyarts.org/events/social-cur
