SUMMARY:Craft Happy Hour Winter Cardinal\, A Block Stamping Workshop with
  Amy Bryan
DESCRIPTION:In this block-stamping workshop\, participants will create a
cardinal using a Speedy-Carve block and block-cutting tools\, then stamp
their designs onto paper to make their own unique winter and holiday ca
rds. The cardinal has become a familiar symbol of the winter season and
the holiday season\, particularly in Christmas imagery. Because the bird
itself is not exclusive to any one holiday\, we can use it as a startin
g point for exploring the winter traditions and celebrations that are me
aningful to each of us. Participants will be guided through creating the
ir own unique cardinal design and learning the basics of block stamping.
No prior experience is necessary\, and all experience levels are welcom
