SUMMARY:Happy Hour: Turtledoves
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free happy hour concert! Hailing from the Great
Lake state of Michigan\, Turtledoves is the lifelong musical collaborat
ion between husband/wife Alex and Ashley McGrath. The duo has been makin
g music together for (going on) 15 years - spending most of their 20's f
ronting and touring with anthemic/orchestral rock outfit\, "the Soil & t
he Sun". After splitting off from the band several years ago\, A&A have
restlessly explored a myriad of ideas and concepts for a new project tha
 t ultimately became "Turtledoves" - with an intimate\, minimal\, dark\,
and vocal forward sound. Voices float over a bed of swirling arpeggios\,
deep drones\, and driving pulses - grounded by guitar and piano at the
core. Lyrically\, Turtledoves weaves together thoughts on spirituality\,
  love\, adventure\, and ultimate meaning.\n\nMore info: https://www.nsta
