SUMMARY:Silent Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Bring any book you are currently reading to our very own chap
ter of the Silent Book Club (SBC)\, a community of readers with 300 chap
ters around the world that gathers in person to read together in quiet c
amaraderie. We spend the first 15 minutes talking about the books we are
all reading before quietly settling into our book of choice. SBC is a p
opular alternative to traditional book clubs\, whose members often scram
ble to finish the assigned book and the pressure to have something smart
to say. At SBC\, there's no assigned reading. Teens and adults. Registr
 ation appreciated.\n\nMore info: https://fergusonlibrary.org/event/silen
