SUMMARY:A Christmas Carol
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the Rochester Opera House welcomes the holiday s
eason with one of the most beloved stories ever told. Charles Dickens’ A
Christmas Carol has warmed hearts and haunted generations of imaginatio
ns since 1843. This year\, we are bringing you the World Premiere of a b
rand new work composed\, choreographed\, and written by three of our loc
al creative legends. You know the story. Ebenezer Scrooge\, the most tig
ht-fisted miser in all of Victorian London\, is visited on Christmas Eve
by three spirits who take him on a journey through his past\, his prese
nt\, and a future he desperately hopes to change. What unfolds is a time
less tale of redemption\, generosity\, and the transformative power of h
uman connection – as fresh and resonant today as the night Dickens first
put pen to paper. This holiday season\, the Rochester Opera House bring
s Scrooge’s transformation to life on our historic stage with all the wa
rmth\, wonder\, and theatrical magic the season deserves. Whether you’re
visiting for the first time or making it your annual tradition\, A Chri
stmas Carol is the perfect way to gather your family\, shake off the col
