 town and Brooklyn. During that time\, the band built a reputation and fa
 n base for their energetic live performances\, with consecutive summer t
 ours in the UK and Scandinavia\, and appeared in one incarnation or anot
 her for three consecutive years at the Indie Tracks festival in the UK. 
 After a lengthy hiatus\, The Specific Heats returned in 2024 with a new 
 EP titled "Decaydes Later." As of this summer\, they've officially retur
 ned home to Boston and have just released their third full-length\, "Eve
 rything We Never Were (but Always Wanted to Be)\," which Jangle Pop Hub 
 calls "a triumphant return." This is both a record release party for tha
 t album and a Boston homecoming.Featuring members of Kathy Snax and Pled
 ge Pins\, Boston's Adult Learners play ridiculously catchy\, keyboard-la
