DESCRIPTION:HEALTH & SAFETY: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK WHIL
E INDOORS FOR OUR EVENTS. THANK YOU. Update on January 10\, 2025: The ve
nue for this program has changed. It will no longer be at The Skirball b
ut will be at Lumiere Music Hall. We very much appreciate your understan
ding and apologize for any inconvenience. The cataclysmic Hamas attack o
 n October 7\, 2023 created a firestorm not only in Israel\, Gaza\, the W
est Bank\, and Lebanon\, but also in world Jewry. That Israel would resp
ond with massive force was no surprise to anyone. It is the duration\, s
cope\, and breadth of Israel’s response that has shaken many in America’
s Jewish community. Peter Beinart\, a former (and longtime) editor of Th
e New Republic\, and now editor at large for Jewish Currents\, is an out
spoken critic of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians who live within its
 borders and occupied territories.\n\nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.com
