DESCRIPTION:To brighten up a winter’s eve\, we are hosting 2 open mics th
 is month – you read it right! Open Mic at the Opera House always brings 
 in a variety of talent\, and a variety of audience members ready to chee
 r on those on stage. Musicians\, storytellers and others are welcome to 
 sign up for a 10 minute slot – emcee Eric Lowe will keep everyone organi
 zed. Sign-ups happen the night of the OM\, with doors opening at 5:30 an
 d the mic going live at 6pm in the upstairs bar at the Opera House. The 
 Friends of the Opera House will have cooked up some light dinner offerin
 gs including chili & cornbread\, and the bar will have cold drinks avail
 able for sale (cash only). $5 cover charge at the door for all helps to 
 cover the cost of opening up the House\, plowing\, heating\, etc – thank
