SUMMARY:Living Out the Jesuit\, Catholic Mission: Diverse Perspectives Se
 ries: Revisiting A Purposeful Path
DESCRIPTION:How far can you go with $30\, a bus ticket\, and a dream? In
 his book A Purposeful Path\, Casey Beaumier\, S.J.\, recounts his 1994 n
ovice pilgrimage–a transformative journey defined by letting go of contr
ol\, embracing vulnerability\, and relying on the kindness and generosit
y of others. While we are not making such a journey ourselves today\, we
are all pilgrims navigating our own unique professional and personal pa
ths at Boston College. Join the Office of the Vice President for Human R
esources and gather around BC’s “beautiful campfire” as Fr. Casey shares
how we can utilize these insights to listen deeply\, reflect honestly\,
and strengthen our shared commitment to community and belonging. This e
 vent is scheduled for Tuesday\, October 20\, 2026\, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm
