SUMMARY:Small Bite Sessions: Cheddar
DESCRIPTION:Small Bite Sessions is a 30-minute\, affordably priced tastin
g class designed to introduce you to some of our favorite foods\, while
guiding you through a delicious compare-and-contrast of different versio
ns of the same food. Similar to our other tasting classes\, you’ll learn
about the producers\, flavor profiles\, and get a taste of each variati
on! This tasting is all about CHEDDAR! Cheddar began as a farmhouse chee
se in southwest England centuries ago and somehow became one of the most
copied cheeses on earth. Traditional Bristish-style clothbound cheddar
still carries a remarkable sense of place: grassy milk\, deep savory com
plexity\, crumbly texture\, and long nutty finishes shaped by time and a
ging. American-style Cheddar is more tangy\, “sharp”\, and has a smoothe
r finish. You’ll join Deli cheesemonger Daniel B and taste a curated lin
eup of artisan cheddars – you really can taste the taste the difference
in one of the world’s most popular cheeses! You also get a 20% off coupo
 n to shop for\n\nMore info: http://kerrytowndistrict.org/all-events/smal
