DESCRIPTION:At Charleston Library Society. Please join us for our New Mem
 ber Orientation! Every second Monday of the month\, we host our newest m
 embers of the CLS family for a fun and informative tour of the facility\
 , including key information on utilizing Library resources\, an explorat
 ion of some of the treasures from the CLS archives\, a visit to the Igoe
  Shakespeare Library\, concluding with a tour of our bindery and informa
 tion about our conservation efforts. Feel free to ask questions througho
 ut our time together. The tour starts at 5 pm and generally ends around 
 6 pm. The tour schedule includes: 5:00 – 5:10 pm Welcome 5:10 – 5:20 pm 
 Introduction of staff and an overview of the Main Reading Room and Exhib
 its 5:20 – 5:40 pm Tour of key areas of the Library\, including the Melv
 in P. Seiden Gallery\, the Kellogg Family Map Room\, the Ruth and Bill B
 aker Conference Room\, the Igoe Shakespeare Library\, and the Stephen F.
  Gates Vaults 5:40 – 6:00 pm Tour of Dorothy’s Book Bindery and the Jerr
