SUMMARY:ISU Theatre Presents: A Christmas Carol
DESCRIPTION:Based on the work by Charles Dicken Adapted by Amanda Petefis
h-Schrag and Ben Schrag – Original Music by Ben Schrag Directed by Amand
a Petefish-Schrag This new adaptation frames Charles Dickens’s A Christm
as Carol within the rich tradition of the Victorian ghost story. A dynam
ic and haunting chorus drives the action\, while large‑scale puppetry br
ings Scrooge and his spectral visitors to life. Blending ensemble storyt
elling with innovative design\, the production centers the power of comm
unity—asking what we owe one another as we shape our shared present and
imagine a more hopeful future. Content Advisory: Recommended for ages 11
+. This adaptation embraces the darker Victorian ghost story elements an
d may be too intense for younger audiences. Tickets are general admissio
n (Adults $25\; youth and ISU Students Free). Additional fees may apply
