DESCRIPTION:Join the Calvin Symphonic Band for its fall concert\, "Voices
  of the Americas\," on Friday\, November 13 at 7:30pm in the CFAC Audito
 rium. The program explores the rich musical landscapes of the Western He
 misphere through works inspired by the people\, places\, and traditions 
 that shape our shared cultural heritage. Featuring music by John Philip 
 Sousa\, Ricardo Silva\, Michael Colgrass\, Frank Ticheli\, and others\, 
 this concert showcases the vibrant musical tapestry of North and South A
 merica. Symphonic Band will also welcome Dr. Stephen Peterson (retired D
 irector of Bands from the University of Illinois) as a guest conductor f
