om About Small Forest: Small Forest is Jeanne Kuhns and Marybeth Mattson
the singer/songwriter duo who happen to be a Mother/Daughter team! With
a strong presence in the Door County\, Wisconsin music scene\, Small Fo
rest performs with sparkling atmospheric energy and the unique sound the
ir combined songwriting brings. These women share lead vocals and harmon
ies equally\, merging songwriting styles and different musical backgroun
ds with soaring blood harmonies\, lyrical word paintings and melodies th
at nestle in your heart. Kuhns and Mattson have been performing and writ
ing together off and on for 20 years. There is a visible bond and streng
th in their performances. Their original folk/pop songs highlight their
experiences as women and humans navigating the world from two generation
al points of view. Strong ties to nature\, community and storytelling br
ing the audience into this intimate yet joyous concert experience. Small
Forest has a regional following and people often sing along or dance to
their songs. Both songwriters balance accessibility with depth\, creati
ng songs that feel personal and universal at the same time. Small Forest
brings heart and soul to every track\, keeping their work grounded in t
he realities of every day life while transcending standard folk boundari
es. With a growing catalogue and a reputation for strong live performanc
es\, Small Forest is building a fanbase that keeps coming back.\n\nTicke
