SUMMARY:Genre Is Death\, The Art Gray Noizz Quintet
DESCRIPTION:Genre Is Death (NYC) is a limitation-destroying noise band fo
rmed by Ty Varesi (guitar\, vox) and Tayler Lee (bass\, vox). Their soun
d is abrasive and malignant— using heavy distortion\, dissonant riffs\,
and reverberating vocals to create music that feels both minimal and ove
rwhelming. While comparisons to Sonic Youth\, Pussy Galore and Teenage J
esus and the Jerks are inevitable (and quite welcome)\, Genre is Death b
uilds on NYC’s legacy without repeating it… eschewing nostalgia and nihi
lism in favor of sonic liberation. TICKETS: https://app.opendate.io/.../
