SUMMARY:Kelly Howe is Linda Ronstadt in Just One Look
DESCRIPTION:"JUST ONE LOOK is just one night of exceptional music. It's a
nostalgic rock 'n roll cabaret performance that is uniquely driven by a
theatrical narrative and it works on every level...But it is Kelly Howe
's phenomenal delivery of Ronstadt's tunes that make for a most enjoyabl
 e night in a cabaret venue." - Jim Lindhorst\, BroadwayWorld.com "That t
his production is taking place at the Blue Strawberry adds to the fun. T
his isn’t the sort of intricately plotted play that requires audiences t
o sit still and focus. Instead\, Howe’s beautiful vocals invite us to le
an back\, relax with a cocktail and remember the music we took for grant
ed on the soundtrack of our youths. That the cabaret-style venue allows
audiences to get dinner first\, and keep drinking throughout the show\,
provides an apropos intimacy that only puts Howe’s talents in higher rel
ief. But sitting in the postively packed cabaret\, with hits breaking ov
er you like a tidal wave\, you might fool your yourself into thinking yo
u're seeing Ronstadt at the height of her powers in an inimate venue." -
Sarah Fenske\, Riverfront Times Simple Girl. Storybook Career. Sensatio
