DESCRIPTION:All-in price (includes service charges): $17.95 When: Sunday
7:00 Spotlight: The improv troupe Jive Turkey has been on the DC scene s
ince 2008\, performing sharp long-form improv in front of millions of sc
reaming fans. (Millions might be a slight exaggeration\, but you get the
idea.) For this show\, they'll be performing in our 60-seat lounge show
room\, and they're bringing along a few of their favorite troupes to joi
n in the fun. Featuring: special guest David Razowsky\, guest troupes TB
A Jive Turkey is one of DC's oldest independent long-form improv troupes
\, and since 2008 has been a unique blend of comedy spices blended toget
her to create a mouthwatering taste for the senses. Though some might sa
y we are just two idiots who get together and get our fast-paced brand o
f smart improv on when we're not slaving away at the heels of our oppres
sive DC jobs for the MAN and to escape our sad little lives. That first
thing sounds better though. Sounds like a gourmet pizza. Yeah a pizza\,
let’s go with that. With nationwide performances\, numerous festivals an
d over 25 comedy years between them Jive Turkey stars Joe Randazzo (Sist
ine Robot\, Madeline) and Chris Ulrich (Nox). David Razowsky studied\, p
erformed\, taught\, and directed at Second City with performers Stephen
Colbert\, Steve Carrell\, and Michael Keegan-Key\, among many others. He
went on to serve as Artistic Director of Second City Hollywood for nine
years before turning his attention to full-time coaching. He has direct
ed and taught his methodology to individuals and groups in the US and wo
 rldwide.\n\nTickets: https://dcimprov-com.seatengine.com/events/144192\n
