SUMMARY:Arts & Education: A Christmas Carol
DESCRIPTION:For School Field Trips\, Homeschoolers\, Senior Centers and o
ther Group Outings. Every year\, the Rochester Opera House welcomes the
holiday season with one of the most beloved stories ever told. Charles D
ickens’ A Christmas Carol has warmed hearts and haunted generations of i
maginations since 1843. This year\, we are bringing you the World Premie
re of a brand new work composed\, choreographed\, and written by three o
f our local creative legends. You know the story. Ebenezer Scrooge\, the
most tight-fisted miser in all of Victorian London\, is visited on Chri
stmas Eve by three spirits who take him on a journey through his past\,
his present\, and a future he desperately hopes to change. What unfolds
is a timeless tale of redemption\, generosity\, and the transformative p
ower of human connection – as fresh and resonant today as the night Dick
ens first put pen to paper. This holiday season\, the Rochester Opera Ho
use brings Scrooge’s transformation to life on our historic stage with a
ll the warmth\, wonder\, and theatrical magic the season deserves. Wheth
er you’re visiting for the first time or making it your annual tradition
\, A Christmas Carol is the perfect way to gather your family\, shake of
f the cold\, and remember what this time of year is truly about. Ghosts
of Christmas Past welcome. Bah humbugs tolerated.\n\nMore info: https://
