DESCRIPTION:Reckoners return to the Lizard Lounge October 1st to celebrat
 e their latest release "Where the Hell Am I?" with special guest Dennis 
 Brennan A little bit of soul and a whole lotta’ rock ‘n’ roll! Reckoners
 is an all-star music group featuring some of the top players in the Bost
 on music scene who have worked with and along side some of the best in t
 he business. Fronting the group is the great Tim Gearan on vocals & guit
 ar. Assembled and leading the band is the extraordinary guitarist Johnny
  Trama (Bettye LaVette\, The Silks\, Dub Apocalypse\, The B3 Kings). Hol
 ding down the rhythm section on drums is the masterful Tom Arey (Peter W
 olf\, The J. Geils Band\, G. Love). On bass is the one and only Marc Hic
 kox (Bettye LaVette\, Charlie Musselwhite)\, and on keyboards\, the very
  talented Darby Wolf (Bettye LaVette\, Rubblebucket). Paying homage to t
 he roots of early soul and classic rock\, their songs and vibe make you

  for both The Remains and The Barbarians\, garage band legends who are e
 ach featured on “Nuggets\, original artyfacts from the first psychedelic
  era” Rhino R2 75486.Following high school. Brennan’s education continue
 d as lead singer in such well regarded outfits as “The Dirty Rye Band”\,
  The West Side Band”\, “The Martells”\, and “Push Push”. These bands per
 formed in every bar and dive on the east coast. An education indeed.In 1
 992 he formed the Dennis Brennan Band and started his solo career\, quic
 kly releasing two critically acclaimed recordings on Upstart Records\, a
  division of Rounder. In 2000 he released “Rule #1” on ESCA Records whic
 h resulted in glowing reviews from The New Yorker\, The Chicago Sun Time
 s\, The Boston Phoenix as well as other publications nationwide. These r
 ecordings case Brennans ability “to not just tip toes into genres\, he s
