SUMMARY:Persuasion - Santana Tribute
DESCRIPTION:A local Fort Collins Colorado band formed in 1998 in true “fa
mily style” fashion by the Jimenez brothers Juan and Frank and son Victo
r Jimenez. Their music journey and musical backgrounds date back to thei
r childhood years where music had a strong presence in the family home.
Every genre of music was influenced from the start. This dynamic Latin/W
orld Beat group gained popularity very quickly\, playing local clubs and
private parties in northern Colorado. It wasn’t long before they were t
raveling to eastern and western Colorado for music festivals as an openi
ng act for big name bands like Firefall\, Asia\, and Steppenwolf. It was
a short time later that Persuasion started headlining shows all along t
he I-25 corridor. What has made this band highly successful through the
years\, is the ability to find quality musicians which bring positive en
ergy\, feel\, and love for that extra element of perfection. Persuasion
is well-known as a Santana Tribute Band that puts on a high energy perfo
rmance at every show! To quote our fans “it’s like being at a Santana co
ncert.” Our current lineup: Juan Jimenez\, Lead and Rhythm Guitar. Frank
Jimenez\, Drums\, Percussion\, Lead and Backup Vocals. Victor Jimenez P
ercussion\, Drums\, and Backup Vocals. Dawson Dowdy Keys\, Organ\, Rhyth
m Guitar. Allen Sparks Bass Guitar. Juan Pablo Casillas Lead and Backup
Vocals\, Hand Percussion John Jaramillo Trumpet Brandon Barrios Trombone
