SUMMARY:New Release at The M: Nick of Time
DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Minnesota Museum of American Art (350 Robert S
 t N\, St Paul\, MN 55101) on October 30th from 6 -7 PM to celebrate the
release of Nick of Time: Women Write about Art and Aging. Editors Julie
Landsman\, Debra J Stone and Morgan Grayce Willow will be speaking about
Nick of Time\, a bold\, collective portrait of the sustaining force of
art while aging. Joining the editors are Diane Wilson and Rebecca Pavlen
ko. Nick of Time celebrates the artistic community of the Twin Cities an
d the wisdom that comes with age. Bringing together the voices of women
creatives over the age of sixty-five\, this collection is as varied as t
he artists’ vocations\, spanning from narrative prose to poetry\, essay\
, monologue\, letters\, historical reflection\, and more. As the contrib
utors examine their lived experiences\, hopes and regrets\, joy and grie
f while traversing their last decades of life\, they serve as a guiding
beacon for others navigating the intersection of creativity and aging—as
  well as a ballast\n\nhttps://findlocal.community/event/85ff6168-cb3c-44
