SUMMARY:The Threadbarons
DESCRIPTION:“On the road to ruin\, there’s a lot to see…” There’s a dark
thread meandering through this music. It weaves its way through tales of
sin\, regret and desperation. Of loneliness and resolve. Leaving an imp
erfect fabric — a refreshing polar opposite to perfectly posed Instagram
lives. There’s a melancholy soul here that runs to the bone. The music
of the Threadbarons is informed by the vast variety of life. Members hai
l from New York and Florida\, the midwest and west Texas. They range in
age from their freshly matured 40s to their deeply weathered 60s. You’ll
hear the inspirations: Dylan in his electric years\; Wilco in their pri
me. You may be reminded of The Band\, as various members take the mic. B
ut you might not hear a more authentic commentary on the very human road
we all travel. thethreadbarons.com No cover charge. No set doors. Entry
