DESCRIPTION:This year’s conference will explore the intersection of anima
 l protection\, emerging technologies\, and legal innovation. From artifi
 cial intelligence and robotics to biotechnology and digital governance\,
  we invite participants to examine how technological change is reshaping
  legal and ethical frameworks for animals and the environment. This even
 t is eligible for Foundations of Practice credit for upper-level student

 ference is located on the fifth floor of the Burns Law Library in B505. 
 Please arrive at the library entrance and press the buzzer to be let int
 o the building for attendees not affiliated with GW Law. Accessibility &

 blic transportation (e.g. metro and bus) to travel to and from the Foggy
  Bottom campus. However\, if you prefer driving\, University-owned parki
 ng is available at the following locations. Locations and rates are view
 able on the GW Business Services website. Rates reset daily at 2am local
  time. Area Parking Other parking options are available in the area and 
 you can search for them on Google\, Colonial Parking\, or other parking 
 services. There is very limited street parking. Please be aware of stree
 ts with parking restrictions during weekdays and commuting hours. Travel
  and Nearby Accommodations We will not have a specific conference hotel\
 , but there are numerous hotels and AirBnBs throughout the region. GW ha
 s negotiated hotel lodging discounts offering reduced pricing at specifi
 c properties that are convenient to the GW Foggy Bottom campus where the
