SUMMARY:Ward Hayden and The Outliers
DESCRIPTION:Boston is one of America’s great music towns. But among the v
arious styles the city is known for\, country music wasn’t a truly thriv
ing genre there\, until singer\, songwriter and guitarist Ward Hayden an
d his band The Outliers (formerly known as Girls Guns & Glory) sang and
played their distinctive take on country and western with a rock’n roll
kick\, sending them to the top of the Boston scene and a thriving\, crit
ically-acclaimed\, and highly-awarded career across America and in Europ
 e. This year has had some major milestones for the band including their
new album "Little by Little" becoming the bands first #1 charting album\
, spending thirteen weeks in the Top 10 and becoming #1 Alternative Coun
try album in America this past April. The roots of the band are firmly p
lanted on the South Shore in Scituate\, MA where the band got its start\
, and where so many of the stories within the songs are based. While the
band is currently based in Boston\, Ward Hayden returned to his roots a
few years ago and once again calls Scituate his home. Ward and the Outl
iers head overseas for a Scandinavia & Europe tour again this Fall. Keep
an eye out for their upcoming new album "Forever Homesick" coming later
  this year.\n\nTickets: https://ci.ovationtix.com/36622/performance/1184
