SUMMARY:The John Lodge Celebration: An Evening Of Moody Blues Magic
DESCRIPTION:The John Lodge Celebration: An Evening Of Moody Blues Magic J
ohn Lodge was the bass guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter for the ico
nic Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2018 inductees\, The Moody Blues. Songwrite
r of such mega hits from “Ride My See-Saw\,” to “I’m Just A Singer (In A
Rock and Roll Band)\,” “Isn’t Life Strange” and many more. Following hi
s sad passing in October last year\, his son-in-law Jon Davison (of YES)
and long-term collaborator Alan Hewitt (keyboards for The Moody Blues b
and)\, came together to create a unique concert to honor John\, his life
\, and the iconic music of The Moody Blues – with the goal to touch hear
ts\, spread happiness\, and celebrate what John always described as “the
soundtrack of his life.” This extraordinary concert\, performed by John
’s own band and led by Alan and Jon\, captures a rare magic by seamlessl
y weaving archival vocals and footage of John into a live set performed
by the musicians who were by his side for the last ten years. Earning ra
ve critical reviews and ecstatic fan acclaim since its premiere\, this b
reathtaking technical feat creates an incredibly powerful\, spiritual at
mosphere where it is as if John is performing in perfect harmony with hi
s band. Continuing in how John’s tours honored all of his bandmates\, Jo
n Davison brings his beautiful\, soaring vocals to legendary songs such
as “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon.” The show also includ
es tributes to Graeme Edge\, Ray Thomas and Mike Pinder. John always wan
ted audiences to leave his shows with joy in their hearts – and that is
exactly what this unforgettable night delivers. John Lodge Tribute VIP M
