 \, and culture come together to spark meaningful dialogue. Set to Afrobe
 ats and house music by DJ NorWay\, this intimate evening features acclai
 med multidisciplinary artist Marowa Mosai (Alexandria Taylor) and her ne
 west exhibition BIRTH OF A MOTHER Centered on the idea that “mother” tra
 nscends culture and language\, Birth of a Mother explores what it means 
 for a mother to come into being. Through pregnancy\, postpartum\, identi
 ty\, transformation\, childbirth\, and the many different paths into mot
 herhood\, the exhibition considers not only the arrival of new life\, bu
 t the emergence of a new self. Following a guided conversation with the 
 artist\, guests are invited to share their own reflections during an ope
 n community discussion\, accompanied by curated wine samplings from Ferm
 ented Vines. Come for the art. Stay for the conversation. Connect throug
 h culture. AFRO-TALKS is an evening of art\, music\, storytelling\, and 
 community. Known professionally as Morowa Mosai (“Queen Mosaic”)\, Alexa
 ndria is an Afrocentric artist whose work is rooted in her Caribbean and
  African American heritage. Through portraiture and expressive abstract 
 works in acrylic\, oil\, and digital media\, she celebrates the beauty\,
  resilience\, and excellence of Black identity. Her work has been featur
 ed at MOJA Festival\, Spoleto Festival USA\, exhibited throughout Charle
 ston\, and includes several public murals and community art initiatives
