SUMMARY:Traitors: A Real Life Competition of Traitors and Faithfuls\, hos
 ted by Quirk Events
DESCRIPTION:Compete in a game of deceit\, challenges\, murder\, and over-
the-top Scottish accents Join us for a night where you'll be pitted agai
nst your fellow attendees in a competition of deceit\, challenges\, murd
ers\, and over-the-top Scottish accents\,* in an event that (according t
o our lawyers) is in no way inspired by the copywritten material of the
hit Peacock TV show. At the beginning of the night\, several attendees w
ill secretly be given the role of Traitor\, making them murderers who mu
st work to eliminate as many Faithfuls as they can without being detecte
 d. While others will be the Faithfuls\, working to detect the murderers
and eliminate them from the game. Throughout the event\, there will be c
hallenges where players can both earn protection from murder and feed th
e (not very large) prize pot\, clandestine killings\, and round-table se
ssions where players will be accused and the suspected Traitors will be
eliminated. At the end of the night\, if the Faithfuls have successfully
rooted out all the Traitors\, then any of them still standing will spli
t the prize pot and the glory. But if any Traitors are still in their mi
dst\, then it will be the dark side that takes home the honor and the sp
oils of victory. No knowledge of the TV show that may or may not have in
spired this competition is required.** *Presence of Scottish accent is n
ot guaranteed. All of our hosts are different and in some cases\, trust
us\, you don't want to hear them attempt to give rules explanations in a
n attempted accent. **This event will be open to the public\, but if you
would like to hire us for your own private Traitors party\, please emai
 l host@quirkevents.com -- Before you decide to buy tickets\, a few basic
s we should cover: 1) As the game goes along\, players will be eliminate
d from the game. If you are one of the eliminated\, you unfortunately wi
ll not be able to participate in all elements of the game\, but you will
still have a chance to compete in the missions as a ghost from beyond t
he grave. 2) We are running multiple nights of this event. Because the g
ame will be the same each time\, we typically ask people not to buy tick
ets to multiple events\, as knowing what's coming next will give them an
unfair advantage over the other players in the room. 3) Refunds are onl
y available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice\, in ord
er to make sure we have enough time to find a replacement for you and ke
ep the event well-populated. (Exceptions will be made for emergency situ
ations on a case-by-case basis). After that\, we're blowing the money fr
om your ticket sale on something awesome and nonrefundable. 4) If we get
to 24 hours before the event and still haven't sold enough tickets to m
ake this a fun event for all involved\, we will cancel the event (and no
tify you). 5) Quirk Events is a company dedicated to creating joy throug
h events built around games. We have hosted such things in the past as b
oard game speed dating\, a pub trivia murder mystery\, showcase nights f
or local board game designers and more. Visit https://www.quirkevents.co
m/co to see what else we have to offer. (If you scroll all the way to th
e bottom of the page\, you'll be able to join our mailing list and get n
otified about future events. Plus\, joining our mailing list gets you 50
