SUMMARY:ADULT. & A Place To Bury Strangers
DESCRIPTION:ADULT. is not cooperating. For over 25 years\, the dystopian
Detroit synth-punk institution founded by Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Mi
ller has embodied steadfast frustration\, distrust\, and apprehension. O
ne might expect the edges to soften with time\, but ADULT. is not intere
sted in the comforts of legacy. The duo’s music has never sounded as vis
ceral\, urgent\, and downright angry as it does on the culminating\, unc
ompromising Kissing Luck Goodbye\, their scorched-earth 10th LP and four
th with Dias Records. Built with upgraded gear and a whole new library o
f sounds\, the material is crushingly dynamic\, louder yet clearer\, wit
h Kuperus’ commanding delivery given greater prominence in the mix\, out
lining an arsenal of vivid\, caustic calls\, chants\, and musings. Fans
around the world know Oliver Ackermann always brings surprises. For near
ly two decades\, the singer and guitarist of New York City’s A Place To
Bury Strangers has fused post-punk\, noise-rock\, shoegaze\, psychedelia
\, and avant-garde experimentation into music that feels volatile and al
ive. As the founder of Death By Audio\, he’s extended that same spirit t
hrough his signal-scrambling effects\, empowering artists everywhere to
push sound past its limits. Onstage\, A Place To Bury Strangers delivers
  a shamanistic experience—immersive\, feral\, and electrifying—where rea
 l-time experiments and sudden breakthroughs collide.\n\nTickets: https:/
