SUMMARY:Laurie MacAllister (of Red Molly) and Seth Glier
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this phenomenal double bill featuring two singer/
songwriters Laurie MacAllister (of Red Molly) and Seth Glier! In late 20
24\, Laurie MacAllister embarked on an exciting new chapter\, launching
a solo career with a sold-out performance at the legendary Club Passim.
Two decades earlier\, she co-founded the beloved Americana trio Red Moll
y\, which released seven acclaimed albums and toured both the U.S. and i
nternationally\, including appearances at MerleFest\, Cayamo\, Boston Sy
mphony Hall\, Australia’s Port Fairy Folk Fest\, and Denmark’s Tønder Fe
stival. Along the way\, ad executives heard Laurie’s voice on the Red Mo
lly album “Never Been to Vegas” and invited her to sing the iconic Folge
rs Coffee jingle for a national TV commercial. Her 2018 self-produced so
lo album "The Lies the Poets Tell" is a heartfelt tribute to the contemp
orary folk music scene\, celebrating a handful of its best songs and son
gwriters. It features duets with six male artists\, including the late A
mericana master Jimmy LaFave. SiriusXM praised the album as “Defining. A
curated collection packed with emotional vibrancy.” Laurie’s earlier so
lo album "The Things I Choose To Do\,” produced by folk luminary Cliff E
berhardt\, was first released independently. Hearing it\, Barnes & Noble
re-released it as an exclusive on their label\, saying\, "MacAllister w
holly inhabits these songs as subtly as a chameleon\, convincingly takin
g on the persona's skin\, quite simply singing her heart out.” From a yo
ung girl with a quiet dream of becoming a singer\, Laurie’s journey has
unfolded one song at a time. Over more than two decades\, she’s made her
dream into a reality. Laurie is in the studio in 2026\, recording her n
ext solo album\, to be released in 2027. She’s headlining a limited numb
er of solo concerts across the Northeast\, bringing her soulful\, loving
voice and presence to fans old and new. She’s also doing a number of sp
ecial shows in Fall 2026 as co-bills with acclaimed singer/songwriter Se
th Glier. The Coronation is Grammy® Nominee Seth Glier’s 6th album on MP
ress Records\, following Birds (2017)\, If I Could Change One Thing (201
5)\, Things I Should Let You Know (2013)\, The Next Right Thing (2011)\,
and The Trouble With People (2009). An acclaimed singer\, songwriter\,
producer\, and multi-instrumentalist\, he is the winner of five Independ
ent Music Awards. His music has taken him around the world\, including t
o China where he participated in a U.S. State Department-sponsored cultu
ral diplomacy tour as international ambassador. He has shared stages wit
h a diverse list of artists including Ani DiFranco\, James Taylor\, Lisa
  Marie Presley\, Martin Sexton\, Ronnie Spector\, Marc Cohn and more\, a
nd recorded a duet with American Idol alum Crystal Bowersox. A tireless
activist\, Seth has worked with The Parkland Project\, ChildFund Interna
tional\, Rock The Vote\, and has also been a TEDx Speaker. LIVE MUSIC PO
