SUMMARY:Welcome To Night Vale
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Night Vale’s brand new touring live show\, MURDER
NIGHT IN BLOOD FOREST. Beloved former teen militia member Tamika Flynn i
s joining a few hundred of her friends for the annual Murder Night in Bl
ood Forest\, a celebration of crows\, ravens\, and all corvids. But a ma
sked killer is hunting these carefree partiers one by one. Who would rui
n Murder Night with murder? Can Cecil and Tamika solve the mystery befor
e the murderer has gotten them all? Starring Cecil Baldwin\, Symphony Sa
nders\, Jeffrey Cranor\, surprise guests playing fan favorite characters
\, special musical guest Al Olender as “The Weather” and live music by D
isparition. Both fans of the show and newcomers will be able to enjoy th
is stand-alone performance. WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE is a twice-monthly pod
cast in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Nigh
t Vale\, featuring local weather\, news\, announcements from the Sheriff
’s Secret Police\, mysterious lights in the night sky\, dark hooded figu
res with unknowable powers\, and cultural events. Songwriter Al Olender
tries to grasp the brief\, beautiful moments that make up our lives in s
low-motion but finds that the tighter she holds on\, the more these fram
es fall into a soupy blur. Change is our only constant\, but what if we
wanted to steep in the now? What if we could stay right here? Olender ca
ptures the anxieties of an ever-moving world with a sweet and silly sinc
erity on her second full-length album The Worrier\, never shying away fr
om staring the truth right in the face. Exploring anxiety\, sexuality an
d anarchy\, both in herself and in her relationships\, Olender’s acousti
c\, bluesy melodies point to the butterflies of first crushes\, the gut-
punching realities of responsibility and the eternal romance of friendsh
