SUMMARY:Goodnight Moonshine Quartet feat. Molly Venter of Red Molly. Spec
 ial guest Riverado
DESCRIPTION:Goodnight Moonshine is a musical marriage—the guitar and voca
l duet of renowned Red Molly singer Molly Venter and prolific producer/g
uitarist Eben Pariser. Their collaborative result is a sophisticated fol
k sound built around Molly's enviable voice and Eben's wide\, imaginativ
e harmonic sensibilities (NPR). Riverado special guests - the new Americ
ana\, country\, and bluegrass roots band featuring Rachael Wolff (The Wo
lff Sisters) and Josh Sacco (of Julie Rhodes & the Electric Co.). Goodni
ght Moonshine is a musical marriage—the guitar and vocal duet of renowne
d Red Molly singer Molly Venter and prolific producer and guitarist Eben
Pariser. Their collaborative result is Americana built around Molly's e
nviable voice and Eben's wide\, imaginative harmonic sensibilities. Moll
y is well known for her sublime singing in the prominent female-vocal-gr
oup Red Molly\, while Eben cut his teeth as a street performer in New Yo
rk City\, playing guttural music of New Orleans with his band Roosevelt
Dime. Molly’s voice\, which can be called both “biker-chick smoky” (New
Haven Register)\, and “like silk” (American Songwriter Magazine)\, has t
aken her career to highlights including Tønder Festival in Denmark\, Kat
e Wolf Fest in CA\, Cayamo the acclaimed music festival cruise\, and mul
tiple placements on television and film. In Goodnight Moonshine she is i
 n full force as a songwriter. Her trance-induced stream-of-consciousness
writing style results in compositions that probe the depths of her inne
r experience. Her hit song “Hold It All”\, (originally recorded with Red
Molly and re-imagined on Business Unusual)\, questions the meaning of l
ife\, and grapples with acceptance- with the honesty and heart usually r
eserved for literary writers\, which she also is: she writes a weekly co
lumn on Patreon.com Starting as a blues guitarist in his teens\, Eben’s
imagination was quickly captured by classic jazz\, which he studied at t
he Oberlin Conservatory. “Pariser’s harmonic sensibilities are wide\, im
aginative” (NPR)\, and his career has involved singing lead and playing
bass with Roosevelt Dime\, playing drums and being musical director of R
ed Molly- but it is his love of guitar and improvising on display in Goo
dnight Moonshine. He combines flat-picking virtuosity\, with a depth of
jazz knowledge\, and a touch of spiritual psychedelia. He looks up to pl
ayers like Django Reinhardt\, Ry Cooder\, and Bill Frisell. A natural pr
oducer\, Eben now has 9 studio records under his belt for himself and ot
her artists. Eben and Molly met in 2011 at Folk Alliance International\,
in Memphis\, TN\, and were married in 2014 in New Haven\, CT. They curr
ently reside in Hamden\, CT with their 3 kids Otis (10)\, Manny (5)\, an
d Rav (5). Goodnight Moonshine are excited to release their third studio
record titled "Business Unusual" featuring eleven magical songs selecte
d from 30 days of recording\, spiced with subtle and sophisticated accou
trement from drummer Ryan Sands\, and bassist Adam Chilenski. Business U
nusual builds on their two previous studio records\; the self-titled deb
ut album Goodnight Moonshine (2013)\, and I’m The Only One Who Will Tell
You Your Bad (2018). LIVE MUSIC POETRY & FICTION WORKSHOPS WILDLIFE WEL
