SUMMARY:Mary Lou Logsdon Presents Passage: Reflections on Life's Pace and
  Patterns
DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday\, November 18th at Subtext Books to hear fr
om Mary Lou Logsdon\, author of Passage: Reflections on Life's Pace and
Patterns. Passage: Reflections on Life's Pace and Patterns offers short\
, soulful reflections on the passage of time—how we spend time\, how we
remember time\, and with whom we share time. It fills a need for simple
reflections that ground us when so much of life has been upended by a pa
ndemic\, climate chaos\, and political polarization. In Passage\, reader
s will find a calm pace to consider the wisdom of ordinary life experien
ces. These essays speak to people in grief\, people in recovery\, and pe
ople in life transitions\, such as retirement\, widowhood\, career chang
e\, or health crisis. They encourage readers to pursue mindfulness\, pre
sence\, and reflection as an antidote to the anxiety amplified by the ev
er present demands on our time\, attention\, and energy. They speak to t
he universality of the human spirit. Let these essays open you to the po
 wer of your own story\n\nhttps://findlocal.community/event/b98c969b-090d
