ul singer songwriter." A Nashville based musician whose music evokes cla
ssic 70's singer songwriters like James Taylor and Neil Young\, Sam adds
a modern\, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. An avid p
erformer\, he has gained recognition from extensive touring and as one o
f the six 2021 winners in the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk competiti
on\, one of the largest and most prestigious songwriting competitions in
the country. Sam released his debut album\, Finally Feeling Young\, on
May 14th\, 2021. The album is reminiscent of his 70's singer-songwriter
heroes\, with a modern perspective. On the heels of the award winning op
ening single\, 'Remind Me"\, Finally Feeling Young has already garnered
radio airplay and critical acclaim. Two album tracks\, Remind Me and Say
ing Amen\, won him a place as one of the six Kerrville Folk Festival New
Folk winners. Americana Highways writes: “He writes of subjects that ot
hers don't explore. Saying Amen has Robbins touching that special place
Leonard Cohen went. This is brilliance." Fateau Magazine in the UK write
s "One of the most promising new songwriters of his generation". A multi
-instrumentalist from a young age\, Sam began learning drums and piano\,
falling in love with guitar at age 15. He then started writing original
music\, recording his first CD during his sophomore year of high school
\, while playing open mics in his hometown of Portsmouth\, NH. Over his
career\, Sam has performed countless shows across the country\, in theat
 ers\, house concerts\, biker bars\, weddings\, proposals\, frat parties\
, and everything in between. Sam is able to tour full time\, and feels a
t home in both intimate listening rooms and larger venues. Wherever he i
s performing\, Sam builds an intimate\, easy connection with the listene
r\, naturally creating a feeling of closeness throughout the performance
. Sam is a full time troubadour\, playing over 150 shows a year across t
he country\, including the MainStage at the Kerrville Folk Festival\, Dr
ipping Springs Songwriter’s Festival\, and as one of the “‘Most Wanted t
o Return” artists in the 2023 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Since moving t
o Nashville in September 2019 following his graduation from Berklee Coll
ege of Music\, Sam has made a splash in music city - performing at the B
luebird Cafe within a month of moving\, and sitting in again at the lege
ndary venue with Liz Longley in February. Sam was also a winner at the E
ddie's Attic Songwriter's shootout competition in Atlanta in early March
2020. In 2018\, Sam was able to audition and be aired on NBC's The Voic
e for Adam Levine\, Kelly Clarkson\, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson a
s the first artist to perform a Jim Croce song on the show. Sam consider
s himself a student of songwriting\, constantly searching and learning a
bout why songs have the impact they do. A 2019 graduate of Berklee Colle
ge of Music's songwriting department\, he has hosted many songwriting wo
rkshops and masterclasses\, including at the Harvard Music Department an
d the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. In his performances and workshops\, S
am explores the magic behind the craft of songwriting\, and tries to hel
p others express themselves through the unique and powerful medium of so
ngwriting. Halley Neal is a folk singer and songwriter based in Nashvill
e\, TN. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell and Shawn Colvin\, Halley
’s sound combines inspirations of classic folk music and modern day sing
er-songwriters and her live shows center on themes of positivity and pea
ce. Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2019\, Halley was chosen
from the graduates to perform a song at Berklee’s Commencement Concert
at Agganis Arena. The concert honored the 2019 Berklee honorary doctorat
es\, Missy Elliot\, Justin Timberlake\, and Alex Lacamoire\, who all att
ended the show. In her final semester at Berklee\, Halley collaborated w
ith artist Plot Twist and her former band Rose & Kennedy to write and re
lease a single called “Lover” which shortly after gained notable tractio
n on Tik Tok. Since it’s release in July 2019\, the song has gained over
27 million streams and has seen global acclaim with covers and Tik Toks
of the song posted by people from all over the world. Shortly after gra
duating from college\, Halley moved to Nashville\, TN where in her first
few months\, she was a chosen finalist for “Nashville Rising Song\,” a
premiere songwriting competition. In Nashville\, Halley also hosts house
concerts in her backyard bringing together a community of independent m
usicians. In 2020\, Halley became an official Guild Guitars artist\, and
performed a set of original music at the 2021 NAMM Show with Guild. She
is also one of the first artists to participate in Guild’s “Factory Ses
sions” YouTube series\, where she performed an original set of songs liv
e in the Guild Guitars factory in Oxnard California. In 2022\, Halley wa
s selected as one of the 10 finalists for the Planet Bluegrass Rocky Mou
ntain Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase and performed on the main stage of
the festival. Currently\, Halley tours nationally to house concert and l
istening room venues. Halley’s debut self-titled record was released on
June 4th\, 2021. Halley Neal blends sounds that Neal picked up throughou
t her time studying at her alma mater\, Berklee College of Music\, as we
ll as in the city she now calls home\, Nashville\, TN. The record includ
es a collaboration with artist Plot Twist and her former band\, Rose & K
ennedy\, in an acoustic version of their song “Lover\,” and another whic
h was produced by guitarist for Zac Brown Band and former John Mayer co-
writer and producer\, Clay Cook. Halley released her second album\, "Bea
utiful and Blue" on September 30th\, 2022. She made the record while gri
eving the loss of her grandmother to dementia. Dedicated to her Gram\, o
n “Beautiful & Blue” Neal discovers the joyful parts within sorrow. Her
recent sound blends effortless layered vocals with Americana production\
, and is deeply rooted in ideas of positivity and peace with a throwback
to classic folk production. LIVE MUSIC POETRY & FICTION WORKSHOPS WILDL
