 contemporary sounds. The night opens with acclaimed Grand Rapids saxopho
 nist\, composer\, and bandleader Isaac Norris\, a contemporary smooth ja
 zz saxophonist\, composer\, and bandleader from Grand Rapids\, Michigan.
  Known for his soulful tone\, melodic improvisation\, and energetic live
  performances\, Isaac enjoys bringing his compositions to life. Blending
  elements of jazz\, R&B\, funk\, and neo-soul\, Isaac has built a reputa
 tion for creating music that is both sophisticated and accessible\, draw
 ing audiences in with smooth grooves\, uplifting melodies\, and heartfel
 t musicianship. Over the course of his career\, Isaac performed across M
 ichigan cities and shared stages with acclaimed artists including Lin Ro
 untree\, Oli Silk Ilya Serov\, and Phil Denny. He has collaborated with 
 respected producers and musicians such as Nathan Mitchell\, Nils\, and J
 ordan Love. His recordings\, including Ocean View and Risk Reward\, show
 case his ability to merge contemporary smooth jazz with rich emotional e
 xpression and modern production. A highlight for Norris was appearing on
  the 2026 Aloha Jazz Festival stage in Honolulu\, Hawaii this summer. He
 adlining the evening is Lin Rountree\, also known as The Soul-Trumpeter\
 , he is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. With a whoppi
 ng nine solo projects and an impressive 24 chart-topping Billboard singl
 es (including FIVE#1 hits)\, he has solidified his place as a leading in
 novator in the Instrumental Soul/R&B genre. Collaborating with some of t
 he industry's top R&B/Contemporary Jazz artists\, Lin's talent knows no 
 bounds. Starting his musical journey at the young age of 11\, Lin’s pass
 ion for the trumpet led him to attend music development programs at The 
 Duke Ellington School for Performing Arts in Washington DC. After gradua
 ting from high school\, he joined the renowned ‘Marching 100' at Florida
  A&M University\, performing under the direction of William P. Foster an
 d Dr. Julian White. It was during this time that Lin's love for jazz mus
 ic blossomed\, and he began studying the greats\, such as Miles Davis\, 
 Freddie Hubbard\, Lee Morgan\, and Quincy Jones. After earning his Bache
 lor of Science degree in Business Administration from FAMU\, Lin found h
 is musical home in Detroit\, Michigan. Forming a band\, he quickly gaine
 d recognition and performed extensively throughout the region. In 2004\,
  Lin released his debut CD\, GROOVETREE\, which received international a
 cclaim. This was followed by two more successful albums\, SUMTHIN' GOOD 
 and SOULTREE The Soul-Jazz Experience. Lin’s talent caught the attention
  of major label Trippin' N Rhythm Records\, leading to a fruitful collab
 oration where he wrote and co-produced six more projects: SERENDIPITOUS\
 , SOULFUNKY\, STRONGER STILL\, FLUID\, THE MESSAGE\, and his latest CD\,
