nsion between extremes\, a tightrope walk that’s volatile and unpredicta
ble yet built on intentional detail. The Springfield\, MO-founded quarte
t’s fusion of punk and Midwest emo has cemented them as one of the brigh
test young acts in the underground\, with releases like their 2022 debut
LP\, Kiss Me and breakthrough single “Dad Rock” racking up more than 15
million collective streams. Now\, on their new album\, String Theory\,
their first for Wax Bodega\, Derek Berry (vocals/guitar)\, Keiran Andrew
s (bass)\, Bowen Pennell (drums) and Gunnar Pennell (guitar) unleash the
ir most explosive collection yet\, equal parts introspective and irrever
ent and topped off with powder-keg energy and self-deprecating charm. Tr
acks like the fervent first single “dusty\,” galloping “drown me in a ba
thtub” and pained “hyperpop killed my dog” are transparently honest port
raits of fucking up and falling short: bad decisions that felt right at
the time\, awkward apologies and late-night spirals. The moments when yo
u should shut up but the voice in your head won’t let you stop talking.
They’re all delivered in raucous form\, in sub-two-minute bursts of intr
icate technicality while retaining the energy that’s made TRSH’s live sh
ow the stuff of legends – where the gap between the group and their audi
ence disappears and there’s no telling whether frontman Derek Berry will
end up in the crowd or hidden deep behind dozens of fans who climb onst
age to scream along with his cathartic words. About Adjust the Sails: Mu
sic by a sober guy that make you want to drink About Dear Maryanne: Dear
Maryanne is a midwest emo band from Boston\, Massachusetts. Formed in 2
021\, the band consists of three members: Freddy Loeb (vocals\, guitar)\
, Daniel Yelin (bass\, vocals)\, and Daniel Charrier (drums). Dear Marya
nne’s music is influenced by artists such as Mom Jeans\, Marietta\, La D
ispute\, and Free Throw – emphasizing on noodly guitar riffs and hyper-s
pecific\, yet\, universally relatable lyrics. About Dear Cincinnati: Dea
r Cincinnati is a 5-piece emo band out of Tallahassee Florida. They take
inspiration from bands like Hot Mulligan\, Free Throw\, and Origami Ang
el. Established late 2024 by 3 current members David Blair (Vocals)\, Tr
oy Najdowski (Drums) and Hudson Shelfer (Guitar) before being joined by
the others\, Jake Van Lenten (Guitar) and Franco Perella (Bass). Dear Ci
ncinnati has been making great strides in the 5th wave emo scene and sho
ws no signs of stopping! 3S Artspace is funded in part by a grant from t
