 the release of Jay Matthes’ newest full-length album Remnants at this on
 e-night-only event! Jay’s full band will be joined by The Hot and Dirty 
 Brass Band Trio for the first time ever\, playing songs from his entire 
 catalog. It’s not really an album release party … it’s just a party. Ope
 ning the show will be soulful local favorite Derek Pritzl. Jay Matthes i
 s an award-winning Americana singer/songwriter from Milwaukee\, Wisconsi
 n. His original music has been described as "full of personality and bol
 dness" (Breaking & Entering)\, "proudly no frills" (Shepherd Express) an
 d "well-crafted heartfelt tunes" (The Daily Country). It's been featured
  on local\, regional and national radio and television\, including daily
  rotation for "The Light" music video on The Country Network. Jay has pl
 ayed hundreds of shows since his start in 2010\, sharing the stage with 
 national acts Old Dominion\, Judah & the Lion\, Jordan Davis and many mo
 re. He's earned "must-see" reviews along the way\, including Milwaukee J
 ournal Sentinel's "Daily Concert Pick at Wisconsin State Fair" in 2017\,
  and both Milwaukee Record's "Record Recommended" and 88Nine Radio Milwa
 ukee's "Milwaukee Music Pick" at Summerfest 2019. Jay has been named "On
 e to Watch" by Nashville Songwriters Association International. and won 
 Best Male Vocalist in Shepherd Express' Best of Milwaukee in 2018. His a
 lbum Dancing After Dark was a Finalist for 'Independent Release of the Y
 ear' at the 2017 88Nine Radio Milwaukee Music Awards. The lead single "G
 ood Lookin' Woman" was a Finalist for 'Song of the Year' and was a Semi-
 Finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition. "I've played
  all over the Midwest\, from Milwaukee down to Nashville\, but Milwaukee

 k Pritzl is a Wisconsin singer/songwriter born and raised in the fertile
  farmland of Valders\, Wisconsin. He brings a style and narrative that i

 continuing a tradition of songwriting developed by artists such as John 
 Prine\, Guy Clark\, John Fogerty\, and Bill Walkner. His songs evoke vis
