 e to an amazing variety of wildlife! As our city continues to grow\, so 
 do encounters with wild animals. Join Travis County Wildlife Officer Ruf
 us Raxlen for a fun\, informative\, and hands-on look at the wild creatu
 res that we share our city with. We’ll explore the native wildlife speci
 es found throughout Austin and Travis County and learn what to do when w
 e encounter them. Raxlen will cover everything from wildlife hazing\, at
 tractants\, and deterrents to habitat encroachment\, common wildlife con
 flicts\, and the policies and procedures for reporting sick\, injured\, 
 or distressed animals. You’ll also learn how to understand animal behavi
 or better\, reduce unwanted encounters\, and coexist with our wild neigh
 bors. Plus an up-close look at a taxidermied coyote\, examine wildlife s
 kull models\, learn to identify tracks using a pawprint board\, and see 
 some of the actual equipment used in wildlife rescue and response. We’ll
  wrap things up with a Q&A with Officer Raxlen\, giving you the chance t
 o ask about that strange animal you saw in your yard\, what to do when w
 ildlife shows up at your door\, or anything else you’ve ever wondered ab
 out Austin’s wild residents. Each ticket purchased includes a free drink
