SUMMARY:Brush Calligraphy Basics
DESCRIPTION:Brush calligraphy is a contemporary\, informal\, and expressi
ve lettering style that is easy to personalize and useful for so many ki
nds of projects--in this case\, holiday cards! We will start the class w
ith a brief look at historical letterforms to see how they relate to our
contemporary versions. We'll then use both brushes and brush markers to
learn the basic shapes of both lower- and uppercase brush calligraphy l
etters. To finish up the class\, we will use our new skills to practice
addressing holiday cards\, so bring a few addresses along! Supplies are
included in the cost of tuition\, and beginners are welcome.\n\nhttps://
