DESCRIPTION:Puma Perl Band has been merging Puma’s poetry with rock and r
 oll and music of all genres for over 10 years. Joff Wilson (guitar)\, Jo
 e Sztabnik (bass)\, and Dave Donen (percussion) play both original compo
 sitions and covers behind her spoken word. Each includes a couple of son
 gs by Joe and Joff\, and the band is often joined by other friends playi
 ng everything from sax to harp to trombone to violin. Puma and the other
  band members have been stalwarts of the NYC downtown scene and have per
 formed individually and with other projects throughout the United States
  and Europe. SoulCake singer/songwriter/guitarist Joff Wilson leads the 
 band\; Laura Sativa brings flute and percussion to the arrangements and 
 Sarafe is a distinctive presence on bass. SoulCake has earned a reputati
 on for s that are fun and full of surprises\, from unannounced guests an
 d spontaneous repertoire to new interpretations of audience favorites.\n
