SUMMARY:THE THREE DS
DESCRIPTION:Soul'd Out Presents – The Three Ds – A Christmas Nog II 7:00p
m 8:00pm Ages: 21+ The Three Ds is fronted by Jessica Dover on Vocals\,
John Dover on Trumpet\, and Mike Doolin on Guitars. Since 2016\, they ha
ve performed and recorded together putting their own spin on the music o
 f Jobim\, 80’s pop classics\, jazz standards\, and a variety of Holiday
songs. Their playful sound and arrangements lend a fresh approach to fam
iliar material\, leaving their audiences with a tap in their foot and a
smile on their face. The release of their third studio album\, A Night L
ike This\, plays to all of their strengths. From the many hats of Mike D
oolin laying down multiple guitar and bass tracks to every song\, to Jes
sica Dover’s breezy approach to Jobim’s melodies\, to John Dover’s butte
ry solo work on the flugel horn. The Three Ds deliver a heavy dose of Br
azilian jazz along with a couple of American songbook surprises. Their p
rior releases include\, A Little Christmas Nog\, and A Little Christmas
Nog II: Nog Harder. Their holiday performances take the arrangements fro
m these recordings and deliver them with a nostalgic banter. Add in the
sound of their full band and audiences are carried away with a smile on
their face and holiday cheer in their hearts. https://drive.google.com/f
