 e
DESCRIPTION:Town Hall Seattle presents Jane Leeves and Isabella Kathryn C
oben for their new book Daphne & Me: My Life on Frasier (And a Bit More)
. Register here! Over the course of more than a decade\, Jane Leeves\,
a former ballerina from humble beginnings in England\, saw her life turn
on its head when she was cast as the eccentric character\, Daphne Moon\
, on beloved sitcom Frasier\, a show that would make her career. Now in
her new memoir\, Daphne & Me\, she recounts the most monumental years of
her life\, sharing the hilarious and moving stories she’s collected ove
r the years\, and revisiting remarkable moments behind the scenes of the
iconic show we all know and love. As the character Daphne Moon — a live
-in physical therapist hired to take care of Frasier Crane’s father — Le
eves acted as a perfect\, down-to-earth foil to pompous Frasier and his
equally pretentious brother\, Niles. As Daphne and Niles were falling he
ad-over-heels for each other in one of television’s great romances\, Jan
e was finding her own true love on the Paramount lot and eventually havi
ng children\, one of whom calls David Hyde Pierce “godfather.” Eleven se
asons and a record-breaking thirty-seven Emmys later\, Leeves and the ca
st and crew of Frasier made television history in making one of the most
beloved and influential sitcoms of all time. Jane Leeves was born in Il
ford\, Essex\, England. She had her start as a member of the Hill’s Ange
ls on The Benny Hill Show\, then appeared as a guest star in episodes of
popular sitcoms such as Seinfeld\, Who’s the Boss\, and Blossom. Jane l
anded a recurring role on Murphy Brown as Audrey Cohen. In addition to F
rasier\, she also starred in the Emmy Award–winning TV Land series Hot i
n Cleveland\, and graced the world of theater by starring as Sally Bowle
s in Cabaret on Broadway. Jane has also lent her voice to various animat
ed television series\, including The Penguins of Madagascar\, Phineas an
d Ferb\, and The Simpsons\, as well as the major motion picture\, James
and the Giant Peach. In 2018\, Jane joined the Fox medical drama The Res
ident. She lives in Malibu\, CA\, with her husband\, Marshall Coben\, wi
th whom she has two children. Isabella Kathryn Coben is Jane’s daughter
and a British-American writer and actor who has appeared on hit shows su
ch as Modern Family and Young Sheldon. She lives in Brooklyn with a dog
and a cat. Daphne & Me is her first book.\n\nTickets: https://townhallse
