 ars as Edward Lionheart\, a celebrated Shakespearean actor who seeks rev
 enge on the theatre critics who dismissed his work. With the help of his
  devoted daughter\, Lionheart begins targeting the critics one by one\, 
 staging elaborate acts of revenge inspired by the gruesome deaths found 
 in Shakespeare’s plays. Directed by Douglas Hickox and co-starring Diana
  Rigg\, Theatre of Blood blends horror\, comedy\, and Shakespearean thea
