DESCRIPTION:$30 advanved\, $35 at the door General Admission (Seated) - D

DED BY POPULAR DEMAND! (11/24 SOLD OUT) THE SONGS OF DOLLY PARTON Back P
orch Songwriter Series ~ Featuring Special Guests ~ Sandy Bailey\, Lisa
 Bastoni\, Zara Bode\, Kimaya Diggs\, Tracy Grammer\, Ken Maiuri & The De
ep River Ramblers house band Join us for a tribute to the queen of count
ry\, Dolly Parton as we celebrate her life and music. The Deep River Ram
blers will back an all-star lineup of performers exploring Dolly's amazi
ng catalog of songs. Originally teaming up to perform a Doc Watson Tribu
te show for Signature Sounds\, the trio was and remains a natural collab
oration. Their approach to music and performance is humble\, direct and
expressive. If you can imagine hiking in a landscape of contemporary Ame
ricana and roots music\, you could easily see these “ramblers” roaming b
etween well known and inspirational voices like Doc Watson\, Nanci Griff
ith\, Levon Helm\, Muddy Waters or John Prine. Combining fiddle\, guitar
s\, mandolin\, dobro and bass\, this streamlined trio brings multi-instr
umental abilities to every song. The final ingredient\, however\, is the
combination of soulful singing with great songs. On that front\, the De
ep River Ramblers will take you on a journey that will last long after t
he show is over. Chris Brashear plays fiddle\, mandolin and guitar\, and
he is a vocalist and songwriter. He has toured and recorded nationally
and internationally with a variety of groups including The Maurizio Geri
Swingtet\, Perfect Strangers\, Robin and Linda Williams\, and Peter McL
aughlin. Jim Henry plays guitar\, dobro\, and mandolin. He is a singer\,
songwriter\, producer\, session player\, and engineer. He has recorded
and played on hundreds of albums and has toured the US\, Canada\, and Eu
rope with Mary Chapin Carpenter\, The Weepies\, Paula Cole\, and many ot
hers. Paul Kochanski is one of the most sought-after bass players in New
England. Having performed and/or recorded with literally hundreds of ar
tists\, he can be currently seen with Grammy-winning songwriter Lori McK
enna\, blues legend Ronnie Earl\, and Americana pioneers the Swinging St
 eaks. Contact Us: contact@thedrakeamherst.org #: 413-320-3020 Copyright
