The Stages Series at MOJA Arts Festival presented by Dark Blue Mondaze and CofC Stages Series Coordinator – Gary DeWitt Marshall The PROMISE Co-Production w/ Claflin University The Promise is a new play that tells the story of six Black Continental Army soldiers captured by the British during and post–American Revolutionary War as they are forced to explore what the promises of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness truly mean. Presented in partnership with Claflin University. Recommended for audiences aged 14 and up (adult themes).
