MEET & GREET: KC Darling, "Pizzarella" and "The Pizza Slice Man" (ages 3-9)

About this event

whimsical picture books with a cheesy pizza twist, adventure, and lots of laughs Author KC Darling shares her pizza-themed children’s book and related merchandise. Pizzarella is a whimsical twist on the classic Cinderella fairy tale. What happens when you mix a classic fairy tale, a magical pizza shop, and a slice of adventure? You get Pizzarella! Meet Pizzarella, a kind-hearted girl with a passion for pizza, stuck running her father’s pizzeria while her not-so-sweet stepmother and stepsisters boss her around. Just when it seems like she’ll never get a break, the Fairy Godfather (yes, you read that right!) arrives with an offer she can't refuse. 🎩✨ But can she capture the prince’s heart before the clock runs out… or will she be back to kneading dough at midnight? The Pizza Slice Man is a funny, pizza-filled twist on the classic Gingerbread Man story. When one runaway slice turns a royal wedding upside down, Pizzarella and her fairy-tale friends race to catch him before the whole celebration falls apart. From the whimsical world of Pizzarella, KC Darling brings readers a laugh-out-loud, heartwarming adventure filled with mischief, magic, and melted cheese. When a royal wedding goes hilariously off the rails thanks to one runaway slice, it’s up to Pizzarella and her fairy-tale friends to make things right (and maybe save dinner, too).
