The Orrs with Ezra Cohen and the Big City Band + State Birds

About this event

The Orrs are a New England indie rock band with roots in the New Hampshire Seacoast scene, built around the songwriting of Mike Thurston and Stefan Mraz. Their sound mixes jangly guitars, indie-pop hooks, and scrappy alt-rock energy, heard across releases like Fish Science (2026) and their self titled Album (2024). Known for lively live shows and a DIY spirit, the band has become a familiar presence around the local scene! | Ezra Cohen and the Big City Band | “New England singer-songwriter, Ezra Cohen’s debut full-length release. After two EP’s on his own and years of cutting his teeth touring, playing & booking the New Hampshire DIY scene (with his bands Notches & Charles), Ezra truly delivers as a solo artist, perfectly capturing his melodic & infectious pop rock songs for all the world to hear. And we’re listening. Proudly wearing his influences on his sleeve, you can hear traces of the Lemonheads, Westerberg/Stinson, Lucinda & Wilco bursting throughout the 10 indie pop songs. With a song for every mood, “The Sweet Milllion” is triumphant in being one of the best & most honest indie rock records of 2022. You just don’t know it yet.” | State Birds | This angular folk rock project arrives from Portland, ME, Drummer DJ Nelson (, Snake Lips,). DJ (drums, guitar, vocals) pairs with Leroy Gozum of Low Wick (vocals, guitar, bass) , as well as Daniel Juergens of Slow Haste (Bass, Drums, Vocals), and Sam Ellis of Savor and Snake Lips (guitar). The Self Titled Debut release, October 2024 is now accompanied by “The Cracking Spell” of September 2026.
