Get Out the Vote Letter Writing Event

About this event

Comma, a bookshop - This fall, Comma is hosting voter registration and Get Out The Vote letter-writing events. We'll write letters to unregistered potential voters and encourage them to vote and we'll share recommendations for great books to read about democracy and politics, eat snacks, and have fun doing it. Writing letters to underrepresented voters is a fun, easy, and highly effective way to strengthening our democracy by encouraging citizens from underrepresented communities to vote. We'll supply the letters, targeted voter addresses, envelopes and stamps. All you'll do is write a short, personal message about why you think it's important to vote. You just need to show up! (Although we wouldn't mind if you chipped in some stamps to help keep our costs down.) Please RSVP here so we know how many to expect.
