Join local author Tessi Ross for a book release party for her new book, Unexpected Wholeness. Join us for a short reading, a conversation, book sales and signing, and time for guests to linger over coffee, beer, or wine. Free to attend; please RSVP. Event will be held outside on the Cream & Amber patio, weather permitting. Unexpected Wholeness is a memoir and self-help blend about unexpectedly finding wholeness through chronic illness, faith, and curiosity in a life that didn't go as planned. As a nurse who became a patient, Ross writes for people quietly rebuilding after their health or their life after plans fell apart. The book also covers timely topics like medical gaslighting and navigating the disability systems. It's an honest, yet hopeful book.
